Overview

Umm Al Qura University is located in the western province of Saudi Arabia between latitude 21o 00’ and 21o 30’ N and longitude 39o 15’ and 40o 30’ E The location of the university is surrounded by two main wadis (Wadi Na'man and Wadi Urannah). The discharge results from the rainfall events flow in both wadis which make the buildings constructed in the university location exposed to the hazards of flooding.
