Overview

Umm Al Qura University is located in the western province of Saudi Arabia between latitude 21o 00’ and 21o 30’ N and longitude 39o 15’ and 40o 30’ E The location of the university is surrounded by two main wadis (Wadi Na'man and Wadi Urannah). The discharge results from the rainfall events flow in both wadis which make the buildings constructed in the university location exposed to the hazards of flooding. Complete design until the tender stage to the following items:- The flood protection works needed to protect both Wadi Urannah and Wadi Na'man

  • Examine the old drawings provided by the University.
  • Hold discussion with the University with alternative proposals for protection works
  • Hydraulic design to the main proposed diversion channels
  • Proceed to prepare detailed designs and BOQ .
  • Prepare Standard set of instruction, specification, conditions, payment schedule, etc. in a form of tender document.
  • The total cost of the project is 42,890,415 Reyal Saudi
