Overview

Design of Flood Protection Works Projects - Sultanat of Oman Sohar freezone area is located west of the port connected with a very good road network. The freezone is divided into 5 phases. Phase 1 is currently occupied about 90% by end users. Therefore, Sohar freezone administration decided to immediatelyimplement the expansion plan. The expansion is to proceed further with Phase 2. Also, the consultancy services will provide a designing the full drainage system for all phases. The project site is located in an area knows to be highly sensitive to the flash floods events. This situation necessitates the need for a comprehensive flash flood protection and storm drainage study
