Scope of work

Overview

Preparation of all geological, hydrological, survey, engineering, environmental and finally economical feasibility studies to reach the lowest project coasts by using different alternatives for the project design. Preparation of the preliminary studies and contour survey for the project area. Preparation of complete documents of the studies and designs of the Dam The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation is constantly continuing with their programme of developing the water resources within the Republic of Yemen. Their aim is to dramatically increase the availability of domestic (primary) and agricultural (secondary) water to all sectors of the community within Mukalla region and has identified a significant number of areas that will benefit from the increase in water storage facilities. Their quest is to provide as many dams and hydro related structures and installations as necessary to fulfill this goal. As part of this programme, the Ministry asked for review old feasibility study, design and tender documentation for (Al Kherba, Al Madhar, Arraf, Bedesh, Hemam , Gad, Mohammadin and Tahamine Dams) in the province of Hadramoat. The aim of the dam is to provide mainly domestic water storage facilities and in addition advise on augmenting services required to ultimately make the water available for the targeted beneficiary areas
