MoDERN IRRIGATION FOR SMALL FARMS UNDER SUBSIDY PROGRAMME PHASE I AND PHASE II

Scope of work

Overview

Hold discussion with the Ministry with alternative proposals for combination of irrigation methods for 10 farms and finalize the pattern to be used for all other farms. Proceed to prepare detailed designs and BOQ for each farm. Prepare Standard set of instruction, specification, conditions, payment schedule, etc. in a form of tender document. Total of 600 small farm had been designed and equiped with modern irrigation systems. The Ministry of Agricultural of Sultanate of Oman applied a project for Modern Irrigation systems for small farms under subsidy programme. The main objectives of the project are:- To enable farmers to adopt the modern way of irrigating their produce To reduce the consumption of water per unit area, To achieve better production way of systematic irrigation
